Quentin Nardi has photographed the paper napkin ring above with a turquoise napkin, which is a lovely cool-looking compliment to the warmer tones in the crisp red checked gingham and strawberries in the design. That color also blends well with the greenery that surrounds the strawberries. If you happen to be fresh out of turquoise napkins, though; white, red, green or even yellow-orange would also look great.

If you prefer a different look, you can also use the napkin rings with patterned napkins, as shown above.

Making these homemade napkin rings couldn't be simpler. Just download the napkin ring template below by clicking on it and saving it to your hard drive. Then, just print as many as you need for your party and cut them with a paper cutter or craft knife and a straight-edge. Once they're cut, use them to encircle your napkin-wrapped flatware and then either tape them or use a glue stick or Glue Dots to keep them closed. Double-stick tape also works well, especially if you don't want the tape to show.

You're welcome to use these paper garden party napkin rings for your own personal use. Please see the terms of use for more information. Thanks!
