These Easter baskets are perfect for a variety of uses, so having different options for creating them makes them more useful. For example, if you want to make individual baskets for each student in your child's classroom and have your child help in the process, you might want to do the "Plain version with no top edges" version shown in the photo. Those would also be great to take to kids in a pediatric hospital ward or to older adults in a convalescent home. You can always make the fancier versions, too, but having a stripped down model can speed things up if you'll be making a lot of them.
If you want something fancier, you can add the Easter bunny that's included in the template and/or embellish the baskets in all kinds of other ways. You'll only be limited by your imagination. And if you want more color variations, the full kit has three different color schemes for the same basket. It also has an additional flower element, plus matching cupcake toppers, napkin rings, banner flags, drink labels and an add-on that allows you to turn the Easter basket into a place card. You can see the items in the full Easter party printables kit below:
Download the free Easter basket template or the full Easter party printables kit from the buttons below:
You don't need to download the free template if you'll be getting the full kit; it's included.
More Easter Entertaining Help
Since Easter is a time when we traditionally go all out for dinner and dessert, I also wanted to share this new book I discovered, which has some great all-in-one-place tips for making dessert frosting and decorations: it's Sugarlicious by Meaghan Mountford. (Some of you may know Meaghan as the editor of EdibleCrafts.CraftGossip.com.)
There are all kinds of fun ideas for decorated cakes, cupcakes and cookies, but what I like best about this book are the sections that demystify all the popular frosting types and give recipes for each, and describe techniques for using them in detail. Just the thing for an exhausted paper artist who spends all her time making printables to put on top of baked goods and needs a little help to actually create the treats herself. I admit it; I used to get store-bought treats to showcase my printables, because my skill level in that department wasn't up to snuff! But with the help of this book, now I can make them myself.
