Free Halloween Invitation Templates

costumes and cocktails invitations

I just love the whimsical haunted house and swarming bats on these printable Halloween invitation templates. They celebrate the spirit of the holiday without being too-too scary. And the purple, orange, black and white color scheme is spot-on for a spooky party while still setting a cheerful tone.

Sometimes people prefer to have blank Halloween invitations or flyer templates that allow them to use their own font sizes and layout. These are great for that. But if you just want to have a lined version you can use to either add text on the lines or write your party information in by hand, I've got you covered there too. See below for Tips for using these Halloween flyer background and invitation templates to their best advantage.

Tips

  • If you're not familiar with how to use these blank Halloween invitations or flyers, check out the tips on my Free Chalkboard Holiday Invitation page. It not only gives suggestions and links for how to use Microsoft Word and Photoshop, it links to five free graphics programs you can use instead of those.
  • You might want to match the font I used on these printable Halloween invitation templates. It's a beautiful font from Creative Fabrica, called De Arloy. (Creative Fabrica also has a great freebies section.) While the font is actually Art Nouveau style (with two versions, one more ornate than the other), I thought it worked really well for Halloween. But it's also amazing for use on projects you want to have a vintage vibe. I just had to share it used in a vintage design because I thought it was so beautiful:

  • Stuck for what to write if you're using the blank version? This site is a great resource if you need help with Halloween invitation wording. They also offer wording samples for other occasions.
  • I also made a slightly different version of this design, which you can see below. It incorporates a friendly ghost and has a somewhat different layout. You'll find it on my Free Printable Party Invitations site. You can access it directly by clicking the link in the first sentence of this bullet point or the image below:
