There really is no greater gift you can give than love, no matter what all the retailers say. And love is free, as is this printable certificate. Not that there's anything wrong with buying gifts, of course. But you might find that giving a piece of yourself will have a tendency to linger on in the mind of the recipient longer than many presents. I've always believed this. But lately, that concept has become more fashionable thanks to The Minimalists. If you're not familiar with them you might want to check them out. Their mission is to help people strip down to what's real.
Whatever your view of giving presents, this little love coupon could come in handy. Forget a birthday and need a quick gift? Someone recuperating from an illness and need your help more than they need flowers? Out of cash but want to give something meaningful? Here's a solution. And of course, it's perfect for Valentine's Day, when love is in the height of fashion.

The coupon template is set up to fit perfectly into a #10 envelope, so you can just print at 100%, cut around the outside lines and handwrite the information. See the images above and below for some ideas of what you can write to give of yourself. Of course, there are many more ways than these. It's only limited by your imagination.
If you want to add text electronically, you can pop the artwork into a graphics program, such as Photoshop, Photoshop Elements (the program I use) or other graphics programs that use layers. The Beautiful Dawn Designs site has a list of five free graphics programs if you don't have one. You can also insert the art into a Microsoft Word document (in landscape mode) and use text boxes.
