This colorful Halloween bunting put a smile on my face as I was creating it. Although I've taken trips to the Halloween-related dark side with my skeleton apothecary labels and scary Halloween display ideas posts, I have to say that I really prefer a cheerful and upbeat take on Halloween. And I also like the idea of mix and match components. So if you're not into ghosts or haunted houses, you can use the blank or "Trick or Treat" printable bunting instead to make your walls colorful and non-scary.
These Halloween bunting flags can be printed at 100 percent of the artwork size, which makes them really easy to produce. But there are instructions in the Tips section below if you want them to be smaller. You'll also find some embellishment suggestions there too.
And make sure to check out the matching mini Hershey bar wrappers, Hershey Kisses and Rolo labels, wineglass lampshade, and the party invitations and flyers that match these. You'll find an image showing all of them further down on the page.

Tips
- If you want to reduce the size of the Halloween bunting flags, it's easy to do. You can insert them into Microsoft Word, Photoshop Elements or any number of graphics programs. Here's a list of free graphics software if you don't have any. If you need help navigating Word for this purpose, see the fourth bullet point in the Tips section my holiday chalkboard invitation post.
- Although these bunting templates are nice and bright all on their own, you can also use glitter glue, Extreme Glitter ModPodge, Sparkle ModPodge or rhinestones to embellish them. You could use a little ModPodge or glitter glue in the windows of the haunted house or put highlights on the candy corn border that runs across the top. A little goes a long way, though, so don't overdo it. You could also add black, orange, purple or yellow rhinestones in lines across some of the stripes.
- You don't necessarily have to use solid-colored ribbons to tie the Halloween banners together. You can use patterns, such as striped or polka-dotted. Michael's craft store often has bins with random sale-priced ribbons. I often pick up ribbons I think I might be able to use whenever I see something I like in the bin. And if you can't find what you want there, they have a huge selection all the time.
